Tao Yuan County is located at
south of Lin Kou. The distance from Tao Yuan to Taipei
is about 24 kilometers (14.4
miles). The weather is much the same with Taipei’s. We
attribute the prosperity of Tao Yuan to the establishment
of C.K.S International Airport.
B. Transportation
In Tao Yuan, there is still public transportation
such as buses is available, but not many. Cars will be
the most convenient vehicle.
There are two highway exits in Tao Yuan County.
One is in Nankan and the other is in Chung Li. It take
30 to 40 minutes from Tao Yuan to either Taipei or Hsin
Chu.<

C. Education
In Tao Yuan, there is
no education institution for foreign residents.
Although there are some bilingual kindergartens, but they
basically teach Chinese more than English.
